Solar panel cleaning

The surfaces of your solar panels are open to all the elements. For your solar water heating system to work efficiently, the surfaces of the panels should be cleaned twice a year.

Since the life expectancy of solar panels is 30 years, regular cleaning is imperative, especially if they are exposed to dusty conditions or close to the sea where salt crystals can accumulate. Additionally the panels may be target to bird droppings which will severely reduce the generating capacity of your solar panels.

Remember, keeping the surface optically clean enhances light transmission and allows the solar panel to perform at its full capacity!
